SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kanopeo GmbH is accepting applications from experienced aerial and ropes course industry sales professionals for the position of sales manager.

KANOPEO GmbH is located in Basel, Switzerland, on the French-Swiss-German border. The company designs, engineers and manufactures a complete product line dedicated to the aerial adventure and ropes course industry, park builders and operators. Saferoller, the world's first rolling continuous belay system, and Speedrunner systems are installed in more than 400 locations worldwide.

Join our reputable team. Kanopeo is seeking Sales Managers for the USA and Canada. The successful applicant(s) will work in close conjunction with the Basel Headquarters and will be fully supported. You will be responsible for developing and enhancing Business-to-Business (B2B) sales networks with leading industry operators and aerial park manufacturers to further penetrate this rapidly growing market.

We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced outdoor industry leader, with a special emphasis on the aerial adventure and ropes course market. Our continuous belay systems and related hardware technology are industry leaders. Add new products and services to your repertoire in partnership with our team.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS


  • Strong sales experience and knowledge of the aerial adventure and ropes course industry
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge of aerial course construction an asset
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and a sense of urgency.
  • Persistent, results-driven problem solver
  • Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure. 
  • Flexible and adaptable to change
  • Ability to learn and assimilate information quickly
  • Enthusiasm, strong work ethic and a positive attitude


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Development & implementation of innovative sales strategies and marketing plans
  • Organization & Participation in sales events and conferences, such as ACCT, IAAPA, Local Events and more
  • Direct, in-field, Business to Business (B2B) Sales with the ability to meet sales targets
  • Contact and visit prospective customers to introduce our company, explain our product and service strengths
  • Be creative and demonstrate to our customers what makes us different in the market
  • Ongoing customer maintenance to defend and grow our business and provide regular customer service
  • Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors products and prices
  • Reporting regularly to the Board Sales Numbers and Results against objectives
